Radio by - and for - the Mora community.
At KCIZ, we aim to make radio accessible to the people of Mora - particularly its youth.
We play Solid Rock from the '60s, '70s, and '80s, along with news and other programs of local interest. And we do it all day, every day - 24/7.
KCIZ is operated by the Career Center at Mora High School. As such, nearly all of our programming is produced by Mora students and community volunteers. And it's all commercial-free, all the time.
Our goal is to entertain and inform you, the listener, with a unique style of radio that you won't find anywhere else - local, live, and LOUD!
N E W S • N E W S • N E W S • N E W S • N E W S • N E W S • N E W S Break Time. There's a space crunch on at the High School, and that means rooms are being moved around. Unfortunately, our air studio is one of those rooms. Our new room is actually quite nice... but moving takes time, and we can't use our air studio while we're moving it. So we're giving the rock a break for the next week or two, and instead feeding KCIZ with our automated light rock/oldies service - Studio 16. Once we're all done moving, Studio 16 will return to its usual "online and on cable only" state, and the Rock of Mora will be back on the air as usual. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the lighter side of KCIZ. We'll be back - and better than ever - for the start of second semester (knock on wood!). |
