You call the shots.

At KCIZ, we love requests (really!). There's two steps to making a request at KCIZ: figuring out what you want to hear, and asking to hear it.

Step 1: find a song. Decide what you want us to play for you. If you've heard it on KCIZ before, then odds are we've got it. If you haven't, then check out our playlist first. Songs that aren't on the playlist most likely aren't in our library, and therefore we can't play them for you (duh).

Step 2: request it. Once you're at least reasonably sure that the song you want is a song we've got, get a hold of us and let us know you want to hear it. We can't promise that we'll play it, but we'll make our best effort to get your song on. Requested songs are typically played between five and forty-five minutes after your request comes in.

When you call, write, or text, be sure to mention right away that you're making a request, dedication, or whatever. Also, keep it short - just the song name/artist and your name (or the name of the person you're dedicating it to) is sufficient; we generally don't need (or want) your life story.
