Listeners and local businesses help us survive.

It takes lots of time, effort, and money to build a radio station. And once the station is built, there's still lots to do - the ususal repairs and maintainence, music licensing, electrical and phone service, and tons of other stuff that must be kept up with.

When you count up all those things, and add on the costs of any upgrades or improvement opportunities we are offered (which are generally few and far between, and thus taken whenever possible) you can see why we appreciate any help we can get.

Wondering what you can do? Here are some ideas...

Donate some records. If you've got some '60s/'70s/'80s rock on vinyl or compact disc that's in usable shape, we'd be more than happy to give it a good home. Contact us and let us know what you've got, and we'll tell you how to get it to us. And if you've got iTunes gift cards left over from the holidays, we can use them, too.

Throw us your old gear. If you have any professional-grade audio equipment collecting dust, there's a good chance we can put it to use. We're especially interested in finding ANY broadcast gear that has been retired or scrapped by an AM or FM station sometime in the last 30 years. Even if what you've got is broken or incomplete, let us know - if we need one badly enough, our volunteers can fix it up.

Create a program. We have lots of airtime that needs filling, especially at night - so there might be a spot that's right for you! Tell us what you'd like to do on the air, and we'll see if we can get you on.

Sponsor a program. We also welcome local businesses, groups, and individuals to help offset our production costs by sponsoring one or more of our programs on an ongoing basis. In addition to that warm, fuzzy feeling you'll get from helping your community, you'll also get your name on the air and associated with a great cause.

Make a contribution. If you want to help us out without making any commitments, consider a one-time contribution instead. That way, you can help keep us on the air without throwing off your monthly budget - talk about a win-win situation!
